Beginning of the End

As I start a new game in Fallout 3, I notice a silhouette of a man and a women.  From they way they are talking, they appear to be doctors.  You then hear them telling a women to push and you see the point of view from a pregnant women sitting in front of the doctors, giving birth.  You hear a faint heartbeat monitor going off in the background that sounds like she is doing fine.  All of the sudden she begins to scream and they continue to tell her to push.  She does, and a baby pops out, this is where my character in the game comes in.  Once you hear the baby come out, a screen pops up asking you what sex you would like your character to be.  I chose male.  The male doctor starts talking and you realize it's your characters dad. He shows you a monitor that, in the Fallout game, can predict what you will look like when you are older.  This is where you get to choose your facial features and hair styles.  Ready to go, I continue, and choose a name for myself.  I picked Eli, one of my personal favorite names.  All of the sudden the woman begins to feel pain, and the heartbeat monitor goes dead.  The father begins to panic and tries to help, but the screen goes black.
